Grayhawk in the First Millennium – Kiruk & Cedron

The power of the Old Gods was fading. Two new deities emerged; Sirath Urikk Lord of Law and his enemy Quizet Daesil Lord of Chaos. Sirath took the form of a black katana, a shape he favoured in the early years, and in the hands of his son Kiruk they emerged as the greatest power on Grayhawk. Cedron, Kiruk’s brother (see the Bloodlines) was a naturally gifted sorcerer (who later became Master of the Nine Arts of Magic). His early life as a priest of chaos saw him turn his back on Naziri Jehenka (one of the Old Gods) and align himself with Quizet Daesil. Such was Cedron’s power that he was able to refuse his god’s wishes…when Naziri Jehenka attacked the former priest Cedron struck him down and destroyed him and the entire religion.

The first Godslayer was born.

The enmity between Kiruk and his brother Cedron was the catalyst for the destruction of the Old Gods. The story recounts almost a quarter of a century of the lives of the two men, their struggles, their companions along the way, and culminates in the apparent death of Kiruk at the hands of Isula – the archpriestess of Quizet Daesil.
